Pelaksanaan vaksinasi Covid-19 usia 12 sampai 17 melibatkan vaksinator Faskes jajaran Kesdam XIII/Merdeka yang terdiri dari vaksinator Rumkit TK. II RW Mongisidi 30 orang, Vaksinator Denkesyah 13.04.01 Manado 20 orang dan Vaksinator Denkeslap 5 orang, Jumlah total yang tervaksinasi 966 0rang dari 1006 orag yang registrasi dan 36 orang yang tertunda
Kakesdam XIII/Merdeka Kolonel Ckm dr. Ponco Darmono,Sp.B dalam riilis tertulisnyya menyampaikan bahwa kegiatan vaksinasi usia 12 sampai 17 tahun ini merupakan program pemerintah untuk mencapai herd imunnity bagi seluruh lapisan masyarakat Indonesia bisa segera terwujud
Lebih lanjut kakesdam XIII/ Merdeka menerangkan, bahwa kegiatan yang sama seperti ini, juga dilaksanakan juga disemua Faskes satuan jajaran kesdam XIII/Merdeka, mulai dari propinsi Sulut, provinsi Gorontalo dan Provinsi Sulawesi tengah.
Tenaga vaksinator seluruh jajaran kesdam XIII/Merdeka harus stand by setiap hari, dan jika perlu mendatangi desa-desa dengan berkoordinasi dengan Kodim dan Koramil setempat agar pelaksanaan vaksinasi ini bisa tersentuh pada masyarakat sekalipun dipelosok
“Semoga upaya dan ikhtiar kita ini bisa cepat menekan penyebaran virus bagi anak-anak, karena mereka adalah sebagai kebanggaan kita semua dan sebagai generasi bangsa, mereka bisa terlindungi,” ujar kakesdam XIII/Merdeka
