Pelaksanaan Tim Was Pre dan Current Audit Itdam XIII/Merdeka merupakan langkah dan upaya pimpinan Kodam XIII/Mdk untuk mewujudkan tertib administrasi keuangan dan anggaran serta kinerja berdasarkan peraturan dan ketentuan yang berlaku
Lebih lanjut Dandenkeslap menyampaikan Adapun fungsi dari Tim Was Pre dan Current Audit XIII/Merdeka untuk membangun TNI AD sebagai organisasi yang modern, solid, profesional dan akuntabel ini menjadi semakin urgent dikaitkan dengan penekanan oleh Komando Atas bahwa salah satu prioritas kegiatan yang harus menjadi atensi seluruh satuan TNI AD adalah tertibnya administrasi pertanggungjawaban keuangan dari seluruh program kerja yang dilaksanakan oleh masing-masing satuan
Masing-masing satuan yang menjadi obyek pemeriksaan, agar dapat membantu semaksimal mungkin pelaksanaan Was Pre dan Current Audit Itdam XIII/Merdeka dalam memberikan data dan keterangan sesuai dengan keperluan yang dibutuhkan, serta melakukan pencatatan atas semua koreksi dan masukan dari Tim Was Pre dan Current Audit Itdam XIII/Merdeka,” tegas Dandenkeslap.
Sedangkan menurut Inspektur Kodam (Irdam) XIII/Merdeka Brigjen TNI Junior Tumilar, S.I.P., M.M selaku ketua Penanggungjawab Tim mengatakan bahwa Was Pre dan Current Audit ini merupakan kegiatan yang selalu dilakukan staf Inspektorat Kodam demi mewujudkan pengelolaan anggaran yang efektif sehingga Kodam XIII/Merdeka bisa bersih dari kegiatan penyelewengan anggaran.
“Was Pre dan Current Audit ini merupakan kegiatan wajib kami selaku Inspektorat Kodam agar seluruh satuan jajaran Kodam XIII/Merdeka bisa efektif di dalam pengelolaan anggaran.” Ujar Brigjen TNI Junior
